Lost souls den

The den site of the lost souls is in a large natural crevice. You wouldent know its there unless you were told of it. There are many caverns that ring the bottom, and they make perfect dens.

Shadow went into the infirmary and got out her herbs. She'd dug this place out by paw.

Rain limped after Shadow, her tail flicking. Clenching her teeth she forced herself to step on all fours.

"Rain, I called you here so while I'm healing you, we can talk. .. its about Eli." She whispered as she applied some Ergot and Wormwood, applying it gently to the wound.

Rain's ears flicked, motion that she was listening. The fae winced a bit as Shadow applied the herbs and her teeth clenched.

"Why do you hate him so? I see the way you look at him, why do you hate him?" She asked, wrapping cobwebs around the woulds.

Rain grunted a bit, "I mean no disrespect, but for now I wish to keep that to myself." She became quiet, and her eyes got a little filmy.Rain had never had a good past, especially with males. There was so much everyone else didn't know. Rain never knew her father. When she left she had many horrible encounters with lone males. The fae twitched as she thought, her gaze distand, her expression motionless. She remembered her friend Fang. He had been great until she renounced his offer to become mates. She shuddered at the thought and shook her head not wanting to remember what happened after that.

"I wil respect your decision, but if you ever want to talk about it, I'm here." She said calmy, the herbs were placed. "Alright, that'll fix 'ya up, you can go."

Rain nodded her thanks to Shadow. "Thanks." She padded out of the den and lied down underneath a shady tree, whos branches were low and hid her from view.

Eli slowly made his way to the den site. He liked the idea of being an alpha, but he also had no clue what he should be doing as an alpha. He settled down near the edge of the site. He caught a glimpse of a tail flicking behind a tree, and he shifted his gaze pretending not to notice. He instead concentrated on the birds that chirped in the trees.

Rain looked at Eli, she really didn't care if he saw her. She lied her head down, yet watched her new alpha with more hostility than she had ever looked at someone or something. She snarled quietly and looked away.

Shadow padded into a small, secluded corner, she had carved a map of the territory into the tree. IT had taken months and months to make.

Rain sighed loudly and roled over onto her back. She pawed the air, her white paws churning.

Eli met Rain's challenging glare before she looked away snarling. There's my warm welcome to the pack. He thought bitterly, glaring at the fae.

Rain rolled over again in boredom. Her tail lashing, she had always been easily angered, and boredom was a big fator. She bared her teeth and chuckled. She pawed her own tail the only entertainment she could find.

Shadow started to carve into it the pack name.

Rain stood and paced around the tree trunk, thinking. She was in a bad mood and pacing. Shaking her pelt out she headed out into the forest.

Eli watched Rain stalk into the forest. Should I go after her? He shook the thought away. she almost killed him today, plus he didn't need the drama. He shrugged.

Rain walked carelessly into the forest, her tail lashing. she had to realx and accept. she grumbled to herself as she walked. "Ow!" she looked down, a thorn stuck in her paw. "Darn thorn!" She growled as she lied down, trying to take it out. She pushed it further in. she rolled her eyes at herself and stood. Limping away, she grumbled to herself, "Oh i must be so smart I can't take out a stupid thorn!" She kept walking.

Eli shook his pelt wearily. He found Shadow, busy at work, but doing what? he tried to see around her but, weather it was on purpose or not, she blocked it from his view. He snaked toward her. "Whatcha doin?" He asked, peeking over the alpha's shoulder.

(Totally just had a Phineas and Ferb moment!)

Ari padded into the clearing. Seeing that Rain had just left, she followed her. Once she was in sight again she padded up to her. "Can I tell you a secret? And get some advice?" she asked her. "Or is this a wrong time." She looked pointedly at Rains paw.

Rain looked up to see Ari, "Oh no its fine." she sat down lifting her paw off the ground, "Whatdya need?" She smiled and motioned fo Ari to sit.

Ari sat down obidiently. "Well-you see-" she began haltingly. "I-sortoflikeEli." She said the last part in a rush. "But he doesnt like me, and he's alpha, and with Shadow. I- I dont know what to do!"

Rain shivered a bit, "Really?" she shrugged, "Well to all their own." She chuckled, "Well if I liked a male I would make sure to let him know. and if he doesn't like me back, HIS LOSS!" She smiled, "Go up to him and ask him if he'll go walk with you, and when you're alone let him know." She shrugged.

Ari looked at Rain doubtfully. "Alright... If you say so." She ran back to the den, while thanking Rain over her shoulder."Thanks Rain!" Once she reached the den her heart fell when she saw Eli leaning over Shadow. "Hey Eli, can I have a word with you? Away from here? Please?"
